Tikkun Olam
Healing the World and Spreading Kindness - One Mitzvah at a Time
About
Tikkun Olam (healing the world) expresses our Jewish responsibility to finish the act of creation by working towards a more perfect world.
“You are not required to complete the work [of perfecting the world], but you are not exempt from contributing to it.”-- Rabbi Tarfon, Pirkei Avot
Helping the poor, healing the sick, feeding the hungry, and repairing the environment are some of the mitzvot that the Tikkun Olam committee enables our community to fulfill. Please join us in our continued work. New ideas, new faces, and new leadership are always welcome to help us improve the lives of others.
