An Evening of Israeli Music

An Evening of Israeli Music with Rabbi Or & Feliza Zohar Saturday, December 2 | 7:30pm

$10 per person includes Havdalah, the concert and a dessert reception with the performers

Or Zohar, a Reform rabbi who is a 5th generation Sabra from an Orthodox background, and Feliza Zohar, an Asian American and Jew-by-choice singer-songwriter and artist, will demonstrate how they use music to promote progressive Judaism in Israel and around the world. This husband-wife team will share their story, music, and the spiritual realms that inspire it, as well as the day-to-day realities in which this music is created and used in Israel and around the world. During the performance, they will explore how their intersecting identities -- Galilean, Israeli, American, Reform, Spiritual, Kabbalistic, Progressive, former Orthodox, former Tel Avivians, parents of 4 and partners in life, among other things -- are reflected in their music. Or and Feliza hope to connect with their listeners, find common spiritual ground, enjoy singing together, and expose them to new waves of Reform musical and spiritual revival in Israel.

Please RSVP to 609-799-9401 or email Darra Lipper.

Reservations requested by Monday, November 20.
