Shabbat Shalom - Happy Passover

Join us at Beth Chaim to celebrate both!

Friday, April 14

5:45pm Appetizers/light dinner (suggested donation of $10 per person)

The evening begins with a tasty Passover dairy meal as we all relax from the week and begin to prepare ourselves – and our souls – for Shabbat.

6:30pm Shabbat/Passover Study/Activities

There will be study/activity sessions offered for adults, children and families. Activities could include: art, drama, text study, music or meditation. Participants will sign up that night.

7:00pm Service, followed by Oneg Shabbat Pesach

We will gather for a Shabbat service focusing on the Mi Chamocha prayer, the song sung by the Israelites after they escaped from Egyptian slavery. We will examine the text of the prayer, learn new melodies and study some of the many midrashim/commentaries on these ancient words.

The evening will conclude with a Passover oneg.

Please email the Temple office, or call 609-799-9401 to indicate your attendance plans.
