Dear friends and fellow “Passkippurs,
I know how easy it is, in the press of everyday life, to lose sight of the importance of our Synagogue and our Jewish Community. But, as my family shared with you on Yom Kippur, Beth Chaim is a continuing touchstone in our lives… I suspect it is in yours, too.
So, I’m writing to you once more to ask that you take this opportunity to show just how important Beth Chaim is in the life of your family.
The congregation needs your support now, more than ever before. Dues and tuition alone simply aren’t enough to help us provide the services that you’ve come to expect and that our community needs.
Beth Chaim may mean something different to each of us, but if you believe in Beth Chaim, then I implore you to take that next step and donate whatever you can. Remember the words of Rabbi Hillel:
If not now, When? If not you, Who?
Beth Chaim isn’t a building; it isn’t even staff or services and activities…
Beth Chaim is YOU
Beth Chaim is US
Beth Chaim is our COMMUNITY
Let’s ensure that our community thrives for years to come.
It is not your duty to finish the work, but neither are you at liberty to neglect it.
Thank you for your generosity, your philanthropy and your commitment to Beth Chaim.
