Dear Friends,

Goodbye 5780, Hello 5781!!

I think I speak for everyone when I say we will not miss 5780. It has proven to be the toughest year any of us can remember. The impact of COVID on every aspect of our lives has changed us immeasurably. It has also impacted Congregation Beth Chaim, but we are a resilient congregation and we look forward to many wonderful events together in the near future (of course, near may be relative).

We are so lucky to have a fabulous “new” senior rabbi and friend in Rabbi Blum. Our congregation is approaching our 50th Anniversary, a tremendous milestone of which we should all be proud. Our members are extremely active, working each day to make the synagogue a better place even in a virtual world. We will soon see everyone in person and celebrate our wonderful milestones.

But today, we need your support to continue to thrive. Membership dues and school fees are no longer enough to cover all our costs. We need your participation in the High Holiday Appeal.

I have set a 100% participation goal for our members. No amount is too small and none too large, it is about participation and supporting our wonderful synagogue.

Beth Chaim has never been only about the 4 walls or even the staff or services or activities.

Beth Chaim is You

Beth Chaim is Us

Beth Chaim is our Community whether we are there in person or only in spirit.

Please support our wonderful community during these extremely difficult times.

Thank you for your generosity, your tzedakah and your commitment.

Best Wishes,

Steven Agran
