Pirke Avot, literally Chapters of Our Ancestors, is a section of the Mishna, one of the most fundamental works of the Jewish Oral Law.

Join Rabbi Adena Blum, Cantor Stuart Binder and Anne-Berman-Waldorf, RJE, for our year-long study of this text, bringing to life the words of the Sages in their original form, revealing their timelessness and relevancy.

This entertaining zoom lecture will feature Ted Merwin, Ph.D, author of Pastrami on Rye: An Overstuffed History of the JewishDeli (NYU Press, 2015), which won a 2015 National Jewish Book Award.
