Prior to coming to Congregation Beth Chaim, he was Executive Director of Highland Park Conservative Temple, where he was deeply involved in all aspects of Synagogue life, including its daycare center and religious school. Brian was also involved in membership, fund-raising, office and building management, and public relations. Brian holds a BA in political science with concentrations in finance and international relations from Columbia University and a BA in Jewish history from the Jewish Theological Seminary.
